Integrations
Vercel
Connect a web project to Vercel when you want GitHub-driven preview and production deployments. Mobile projects use Expo/EAS instead.
Prerequisites
- Connect the app to a GitHub repository first. See the GitHub integration guide .
- Add GitHub as a Vercel login connection for the intended account or team.
- Install the Vercel GitHub App for the organization or repository.
- Create a Vercel access token for Elmony.
Connect the project
- Open the web project's Publish panel.
- Paste and save the Vercel access token.
- Confirm the GitHub authentication and Vercel GitHub App prerequisites.
- Choose Create new project or Connect to existing project.
- Complete the Vercel project setup and trigger a GitHub sync.
- Refresh Deployments to view build states and the current live URL.
Environment variables
Configure production-only secrets in Vercel and apply them to the correct environments. Browser-visible variables are not secrets. After changing environment variables, create a new deployment and test the production URL.
Troubleshooting
- If project creation returns a permissions error, check both the Vercel GitHub login connection and the Vercel GitHub App installation.
- If an existing project is missing, verify the access token's account or team scope.
- Inspect Vercel build logs for framework, install-command, and environment-variable failures.
- Disconnecting a project in Elmony removes the app link; it does not necessarily delete the Vercel project or deployments.
