Integrations
Neon
Neon provides hosted Postgres with database branches. Elmony retains a Neon account connection for compatible projects.
Connect Neon
- Open a compatible project's Neon connection card.
- Select Connect to Neon and authorize the intended Neon account.
- Return to Elmony and confirm the connected state in Settings → Integrations.
- Configure the project's database connection through its existing stack and environment variables.
Connecting an account does not make every codebase Neon-aware. The project must include a Postgres client, schema, migrations, and server-side handling appropriate for its framework.
Branches and production safety
- Use a non-production branch or database to test schema migrations.
- Keep database connection strings in protected environment configuration.
- Review generated SQL and application migrations before applying them.
- Plan both a database recovery path and a code rollback before production changes.
Troubleshooting
- Reconnect Neon if authorization was revoked or the wrong account was selected.
- Confirm the deployment environment has the intended branch's connection string.
- Check SSL requirements and database network errors in the server or deployment logs.
- Disconnecting Neon in Settings removes the saved account connection from Elmony.
