Integrations

GitHub

Connect GitHub to back up generated code, collaborate outside Elmony, and enable deployment services such as Vercel.

Connect and sync

  1. Open the project in Builder and select the Publish panel.
  2. Choose Use Global GitHub to reuse the account from Settings, or Use Project GitHub to authorize a separate account for this app.
  3. Select Connect GitHub and complete GitHub's device authorization in the browser.
  4. Create a repository or connect an existing repository and branch.
  5. Select Sync to GitHub whenever you want to push current project files.

Global access is shared by projects that choose it. Project access is isolated to the selected app. Disconnecting an account can affect every project that uses that source.

Git history inside Elmony

Elmony's Versions view uses the project's local Git history. GitHub sync sends that code to the connected remote repository, but it does not replace the local version and restore workflow. Review generated changes before sharing or deploying sensitive code.

Troubleshooting

Repository or organization missing

Confirm the selected global or project account has access to that organization. If authorization changed, disconnect that account source, reconnect it, and grant access to the intended repositories.

Push rejected or not fast-forward

The remote branch contains commits that the local app does not have. Preserve the remote work by reconciling it with normal Git tools. Use Force Push only when you intentionally want to overwrite the remote history; Elmony shows a destructive-action confirmation first.

Sync timeout or server error

Retry after checking the network and GitHub status. Large generated files should be removed from the repository or handled with an appropriate Git storage strategy.
