RevenueCat

RevenueCat is Elmony's recommended billing path for mobile subscriptions, paywalls, premium unlocks, and Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases.

Connect and prepare billing

  1. Open the mobile project's App Details or Payments setup.
  2. Select Connect RevenueCat and complete account authorization.
  3. Choose an existing RevenueCat project or create a new one.
  4. Prepare the billing scaffold. Elmony can create the platform apps, entitlement, offering, package, paywall, and a default monthly Test Store product.
  5. Choose a monthly or monthly-and-yearly plan preset, or configure the items manually.
  6. Fetch the RevenueCat keys and save billing for the selected app.

Preview

Use RevenueCat Test Store during development. Google Play test and App Store sandbox are also available when their platform setup is ready.

Android release

Link Google Play products to RevenueCat packages and save the Android public SDK key.

iOS release

Link App Store products to RevenueCat packages and save the iOS public SDK key.

Test versus release

Test Store products do not create real Google Play or App Store products. Create pricing and product records in each store, import or link them in RevenueCat, and test with platform sandbox accounts before submission.

The Publish panel's Store & billing readiness card reports missing store accounts, app records, imported products, credentials, and platform RevenueCat keys. A ready badge means the Elmony checklist passed; it does not guarantee store approval.

Troubleshooting

  • Refresh the billing scaffold after adding or changing RevenueCat products.
  • Confirm that the entitlement, offering, package, and product identifiers match the app code.
  • Use the Test Store API key only for Test Store preview, not as a platform release key.
  • If the app still uses legacy global settings, save the project configuration to move it to the app-level RevenueCat setup.
